Where are the men?

We live in an era where women have assumed a leading role in almost every aspect of life: education, business, politics, science, technology, entrepreneurship, spirituality… And they haven't just entered these spheres; they've shone. Today, they lead classrooms, governments, social movements, work teams, digital platforms, and even conversations about change within homes. However, amidst this admirable and necessary rise, one question is becoming increasingly prominent: Where are the men?

This isn't a sexist complaint, nor a nostalgic plea for times gone by. It's more of a wake-up call, an existential alarm that many men still don't hear… or don't want to hear.

Women's progress isn't the problem... men's inertia is.

The evolution of women is one of the most significant achievements of our modern society. Their struggle for equal rights, opportunities, and representation has awakened consciences, reformed structures, and improved millions of lives. But while all this is happening, many men seem to have fallen asleep, without purpose, without direction, without a compass to guide them on this new social map.

While they prepare, they entertain themselves. While they lead, they disappear. While they rise up, many hide… behind video games, social media, emotional escapes, or simple excuses.

And the question persists, uncomfortable, almost embarrassing:

What are men doing with their masculinity in this 21st century?

A generation that cannot find itself

Is it possible that this generation of men is lost, confused, emotionally stunted by a culture that hasn't taught them to express themselves, to heal, to build their value without depending on dominance or ego? Could it be that many feel displaced and prefer to give up rather than transform themselves?

In a society that, rightly, gave more space to women, who taught men how to adapt, evolve, and rebuild themselves?

Many men today don't know why they're here. They have no mission. They have no mentor. They lack clarity.

And when a human being lives without a clear purpose, they easily fall into apathy, frustration… or escapism.

Masculinity is not in danger… it's leaderless.

It's not that men are becoming extinct, but that many are on pause. They've stopped leading their own lives. They've lost the initiative to build. They've abandoned their role of providing support, vision, and direction—not from a position of control—but from a position of responsibility.

Today, more than ever, we need men who are present, aware, and determined , who understand that leadership is not about domination, but about service; that being a man is not about competing with women, but about complementing them with dignity, respect, and purpose.

What if instead of disappearing... they are rebuilt?

This image on the cover—a woman alone in a coffee shop, staring into space, while a man is barely visible as a shadow in the background—is not just an artistic photograph. It's a metaphor for what many women feel today: they've made progress, but they have no one with whom to share that progress. They've prepared themselves… but where are their peers?

Many men need to rebuild themselves. Not through brute force, but through emotional and spiritual strength . Not through competition, but through purposeful collaboration . Not through guilt, but through awareness and action .

An urgent appeal: Men, come back!

Return to your children. Return to your wives, mothers, communities. Return to leadership, but now with wisdom. Return to your books, your dreams, your faith, your talents. Return to your commitment to yourselves.

Healthy masculinity doesn't need to shout, dominate, or prove anything. It simply needs to be and act with responsibility, character, and love.

It's not a matter of gender, it's a matter of purpose

This is not a call to diminish the value of female empowerment. Quite the opposite. It is a plea for men to awaken as well. For men and women to build together. For there to be balance, mutual growth, and above all… a future.

Because if we continue to move forward with only one gender carrying the weight of the world, sooner or later… the system will collapse.

Where are the men? They are there. But many need to remind themselves that they can still rise up… and become the best version of who they were meant to be.

Are you ready to take charge of your life again?

And you… where are you?
